Laura Wasser is back working for Britney Spears as the lawyer of the family. Laura Wasser had previously worked for Spears before leaving Spears as her counsel. The two, Spears and Federline, are fighting over or for their two young sons.
Commissioner Scott Gordon, held a closed door meeting on Tuesday with Laura Wasser and the lawyer of Federline, Mark Vincent Kaplan. The matter was then sworn in about 12:45 p.m. but the journalists were forced to leave the hall location.
Early that morning in the Los Angeles County Courthouse, Spears, 26, and Federline, 30, did there best to avoid each other. Spears was smiling and with a white shirt and matching sandals. Britney drank water and sits quietly next to her lawyer, but at one point, she has left with her eyes seeming to have tears.
In May, Spears was granted expanded rights of access to her two sons with Federline to keep custody of their two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James.
Allowing longer visits were more of a “recognition of the progress, progress in the structure and stability,” said Kaplan. Laura Wasser was not present for the comments.
